Festival Fashion Show

Bring your glitter, feathers, sequins and sass to the first ever Speak Volumes Festival Fashion Show! Anyone is welcome to strut along the stage in their favourite outfit – and with several award categories – perhaps YOU could win a prize?

Poetry Slam

We’re finishing the first festival night with an open-to-all spoken word competition. With a judging panel including the 2024 Speak Volumes Slam Champion; The Worcestershire Poet Laureate and Speak Volumes Festival Founder; and two local poets/authors – this exciting slam promises stories, spoken word and rhyming brilliance LIVE!

⏰ 18:45-20:00– 1.25 hours

📍The Hive Studio

Entry requirements: Prepare 3 poems, each a maximum of 3 minutes long. Please be aware this event is aimed at those aged 16 due to potentially upsetting themes or language used by performers.

Photography: Get cash for your photos!

Do you have a good eye for photography? Send us your best festival snaps to earn some cash! Up to £500 is to be awarded to photographers who will allow us to use their photos (credited, of course) across our website, social media, and future promotional materials. We’ll give you £6.25 for every photo we’d like to use.
